Holysmoke Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 exactly. 3G tariffs are ridiculous. No they are not! 750 Rs for 5 gb 3g data is not bad at all. If you dont use that much, you can get 500 mb for 200 rs.

bulbul Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 This is from article Quoted in this thread Compared to the existing 3G services that allow downloads speeds of up to 21 mbps (mega bytes per second), 4G allows download speeds of ÅÖpto 100 mbpsÃò (almost 5 times higher than 3G). this is from Ibn live The company expects that consumer will get 10 times higher broadband speed compared to the speed that people get on 3G network. "No one can tell exact speed that can be delivered on a wireless network because various factors govern it. However, we have seen data speed of around 1.2 to 2 mbps on 3G network. The 4G data speed should be 10 times higher," Kapoor said. http://ibnlive.in.com/news/airtel-to-launch-4g-service-in-bangalore-in-30-days/247589-62-132.html

coffee_rules Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 that's like $15 for 5gb. compare that to $25 for 2 gb in ATT. Seems like dirt cheap for somebody who needs data.
