Laaloo Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 It's gonna be fun when Hussain and company takes digs at IPL if Narine fails :phehehe:
Crookbond Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 What #NajafgarhLogic is this! They may have want to send Narine but could've also sent a fast bowler. Jerome Taylor is quite fit and available. WICB and Otis Gibson need to sort these things out.
indiaregulator Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 So they've rested Anderson and rumours go that Broad won't be picked. Finn, Onions, Bresnan, Swann? Good enough attack?
maverick451 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Only south africa attack is better than our reserves imo. Finn and onions are superb, bresnan's figures are oustanding and swann is top drawer.
Sehwag1830 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Only south africa attack is better than our reserves imo. Finn and onions are superb, bresnan's figures are oustanding and swann is top drawer. Depends on condition. Even Ravindra Jadeja outbowled all these when toured here last time. And please don't bring logic that it was ODI. A good test attack is also a good ODI attack.
Cricket Tragic Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Onions is a bloody good bowler. I rate the guy. Not sure how he will go after a long break though. Took 11 wickets in his latest county game as well. Finn is a good bowler as well but lacks the consistency - expected given his lack of experience I guess. Not convinced by Bresnan even though he has the stats so far in his short test career. Decent 3rd seamer and batsman to have though.
1983-2011 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels sledges Graham Onions West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels talks about his confrontation with England bowler Graham Onions during the rain-hit third Test . Samuels says he prefers James Anderson and jokes that Onions is a 'pretty ordinary bowler'. >>Audio<< http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/18384076
Sid Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 "I was telling him I dont even eat onion" :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Crookbond Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 The last time WI toured England the headlines were - "Onions makes West Indies weep". :-D
jairamesh Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 World Record: Tino Best's 95 vs England is the highest ever by no.11 in Tests Well done to Tino Best (surpassing Zaheer's 75 vs Bang), falling just short of 5 runs for a century against the no.1 Test team in their own backyard. What a way to show the :finger: to the "Mind the windows, Tino" gag :hysterical:. Tino Best has made proud all the no.11s from gully cricket to sunday leagues to Chris Martin, who get so much stick for their batting prowess and the butt of many batting jokes. Entertaining stuff, Congrats Tino Best, :hatsoff:
Trichromatic Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 His hs in fc matches was 51 before this match. :P
Bdeshpatriot Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 More happy for the fact that the highest score of no.11 is now against england, and not Bangladesh.
daryl1985 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 LOL. Onions is a decent bowler, has been very unlucky with injuries in his career.
Stuge Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 He saying this as if they've won the last two test match  .WI still sucks as a team .
