It seems with Indian bowlers no target is never safe as they always bleed runs. The dire quality of bowling in the T20 WC will ensure that Ind crash out early again for the third tournament in a row.

Fact is if CSK had not won, we would not have been talking about this at all.

Oh C'mon 19 runs off last over is a better situation to be in for your bad bowler than 7 runs to defend for your better bowler. This strategy works more often than not.

This strategy works more often than not. Not really there is nothing right or wrong. If a player comes and play a innings like Morkel, you really cannot do much. Shall I say had Vinay bowled the 19th over and then Kolhi or some other bowler, and yet RCB lost. You would be questioning on why did not make play Vinay in the final over. It is hindsight nothing more.

Clearly there is no right strategy and it is only hindsight if you believe that.

We had 25 runs to defend with two overs to go and I tossed the ball to a stupid tammy. F'ker gave away 24 runs and Zelig had to defend 1 run in the last over of the match. We had to settle for a tie :mad: I abused that guy's didi after the match

He used his premier bowler at right times to take prime wickets. In the end if opposition needs 45 of 2 overs, you have done something right. Not every day Kohli goes for 28 runs. If he had not used main bowlers when batsmen were settled then CSK would be needing like 16 runs in last two overs. also remember that Gayle was unable to bowl leaving him an option short
