bulbul Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 How the hell this guy became match winner...the guy struggling in every match i saw where he played...laughing stock of OZ fans..only thing everyone talks is he is in OZ team becuase he is from NSW..not picked in original auction.... Now match winning performance in 3 wins... :hatsoff:
Needforspeed Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Whatever his past performances...He is awesome now.
VRV Singh Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Probably undervalued by a few teams. His career is a bit messed, but in this format as long as he bins his 'leg-spin' then he is a dangerous player. Plus very good fielder.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 today was the 1st ipl game i have watched in ages and i really enjoyed it because of his innings i know he is just a 2nd rate aussie but he is really handy in t20, saved runs in the field and made a close chase on a tricky pitch look easy with some great hitting i like the whole pune team to be honest, they have that look of the 2008 rajasthan royals, lots of unheralded players that can be dangerous on their day...and they have some serious quality with bowlers like rahul sharma, who i think is the best spinner in the IPL now

Sidhoni Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 He was the difference in yesterday's game. Ryder's knock would have been useless if Smith would have got out cheaply. But he took the game away from us.
Texy Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Unbelievable that this guy went unsold for this years auction only to be bought in replacement of Mitchel Marsh!!! He has already proved he's worth every penny!!
Crookbond Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 He was decent in BBL  And therefore his worth. Credit only to Smith and not to Ganguly as people would imagine. The credit Ganguly gets is for promoting him up the order for today's game - good move.
akshayxyz Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 you comparing warne with gangu, go get a life man :poink: Lets talk about captaincy experiences of Warne vs Dada.
Old guy Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 even 2nd rate austalians are better then most of our players
Needforspeed Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Lets talk about captaincy experiences of Warne vs Dada. Warne has captained only Rajasthan Royals. Except for the first season, their results were pretty mediocre. Dada was one of the best captains for India in Tests and ODIs. 4 years after retiring from active cricket he is doing a pretty good job with PWI. Even Aussies dont think much of Warne as a captain. There is no comparision.

Executioner Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 even 2nd rate austalians are better then most of our players u cant ask everyone domestic player to perfom well. And remember, this guy is and Aus and def. they produce class players regularly
Number Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 even 2nd rate austalians are better then most of our players He was in Aus WC'11 squad and got a few games too. After David Hussey retires , he'll be contender for his place in lower order as he can bowl.
