Can India hold onto its lead in the Third Test ??

Or will they succumb to the jitters like in South Africa recently ?? Will the weather continue to help India ?? Will Sachin stand up again ?? India needs him again ! And should we be very wary of a backlash from Pietersen and Bell ?? What y'all think ??

It is certainly possible... although India's past record doesnt inspire confidence. I am hopeful given that the Wall hasnt played a big one yet and in general our batting hasnt come out blazing. Kumble should get some help at the Oval .... all in all a cracker of a match coming up. Also a very good series being played out.

Rahul is definitely due. He would not find a better occasion than this one.........to seal a win over England in England. But I have a sneakin suspicion about Pietersen and Bell......................the former especially is a competitor of a high order.

play 9 batsmen and two bowlers with zaheer and rp singh. Gambhir and Yuvraj in for Kumble and Sreesanth. We should surely draw with that and win the series. The important thing is to win the series no matter how.

When you play too many batsmen, it can backfire when the opposing team bats and puts up 600, then massive pressure cause rapid wickets to fall. India will go with the same side and hope they bat first this time.

Predator, you are correct. However, I have been strongly persuaded to wait until 2011 W/Cup to see Sachin go out for the last time at Mumbai.:regular_smile:
Hah. I always knew you were a closet Indian fan ! ...and yeah, i wouldn't be surrpised if India screwed up in the third test and drew the series 1-1. It's happened before. At Cape Town, they were the better team for the best part of 4 days, and they gave it all away with a pathetic batting performance in the 2nd innings.

3rd test match is fixed' date=' 3 musketeers have each got 10 crore, India loose by an innings and 250+ runs[/quote'] looks like dsr has competition from the other end of the spectrum. :hysterical:
