Is IPL the only way to find new Pace bowlers?

Can we "protect" the bowlers from the IPL? I guess we can.

IPL hasn't produced even many good t20 bowlers for India. Look at bowling in this year IPL. Most of the best bowlers are non-Indians and Indian bowlers have got smashed badly this year. It seems domestic cricket other than IPL is still better way for finding bowlers for all formats.

Disagree Awana P Singh S Nadeem Irfan Chawla Ojha Munaf have been really good for their respective teams this season. Its t20 even the best of bests like Steyn get smashed for 40-50 runs.

Munaf - mostly word of mouth if i remember right Ishant - heard his name.. but didn't expect him to be picked ahead of lot of others Sreesanth - got attention by taking wicket of Sachin Irfan - under 19 Praveen - consistently good domestic performance Mithun - Domestic first class performance Umesh.Varun - mostly talked about coz of their pace.. No out and out IPL product that did well. Gony, Tyagi :fail: so far.
