That is the problem for India. They are all capable of support bowlers not main bowlers. Only once i have seen an Indian seamer others wanted to play out to focus on others in T20 was in 2007 world T20 where RP was unplayable for many batsmen in the world.
This is the peoblem for most teams. Apart from malinga and to some extent gul no team has a lead T20 pacer. Its spinners who rule the roost in T20. Even Steyn, Morkel are no good if conditions dont help them. At mumbai stwyn looked deadly but as soon as he bowled at cuttack, he was ineffective and was thrashed all over. Thing is he is better than Indians but he is no great T20 bowler.

Look at Indian seamers Irfan 7.98 Zaheer 7.84 Nehra 8.83 Praveen 7.42 Sreesanth 8.47 Vinay 8.03 Ishant 8.47 Munaf 8.60 RP is the stand out thanks to his worlD T20 campaign 6.81

Which means on a very very good day our batsmen will have to chase 160. If one of the quick bowlers is off target, then 180, if two bowlers then 200' and so on. We have a pathetic bowling unit.

Ashwin and Balaji.
I gotta say Balaji is one guy who can still bowl one of those unplayable deliveries every now and then. Just dont give him any overs after 17th over. He usually sucks there.

Yea he's got the same death bowling issues like most of them. Munaf seems to be one of the better ones at death.

All Indian pace bowlers shud come with that warning label stamped on their foreheads.

Thread says who is India's best T20 bowler. No mention of IPL man. We are talking internationals here.
Thread is in IPL forum....if it moved to Cricket section we can bring kotta express...till that time we will concentrate on IPL

No he didnt, Pathan and RP Singh were miles better than him in that championship. heres the proof, if you dont like my reply http://stats.espncricinfo.com/twenty20wc/engine/records/averages/batting_bowling_by_team.html?id=3115;team=6;type=tournament
Where is RP now :giggle: Pathan was most expensive bowler in last IPL :haha: Santh is still good. He won us the game v Aus in 2007 T20 WC, or we would not have progressed well. Santh is injured or still would be first name on bowling sheet.
