rkt.india Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Shouldn't have mentioned Pandey's name there. He is ICF's favourite son. Pandey fanboys will rip into you. Expect some abuse and death threats coming your way soon. I'm speaking from experience. Don't leave your house for the next 3 days. :sherlock:
achilles Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 On a completely unrelated note, where have you been finey?
Devjeet Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 3 controversies in a row.......Spot fixing, SRK Vs MI Controversy and now Luke Pomersbach Sexual Controversy...is it cricket??
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 3 controversies in a row.......Spot fixing' date=' SRK Vs MI Controversy and now Luke Pomersbach Sexual Controversy...is it cricket??[/quote'] I dont know. was it cricket when javed miandad tried to assault ,in the middle of the game, with the bat? Was it cricket when afridi bit the ball? Was it cricket when asif and amir bowled those noballs? Was it cricket when cronje and azhar lost games for money? Was it cricket when board gets away with anything? Was it cricket when ****nor mocked a player when umpiring? Was it cricket with no LBWs for miandad? I could go on

I could go on[/quote'] See, it is all cricket when those things happen in ODIs or Tests. No one said 'scrap Tests' when Aamir and Asif bowled those no-balls. But the moment someone playing in IPL bowls a no-ball in the Jhumritalaiya tontee-tontee league, it is obviously IPL's fault. And just because someone is arrested for 'alleged' assault in a hotel room after an IPL game in which the cricketer didn't even play, it is completely IPL's fault ... but when some cricket coach died under suspicious circumstances during a World Cup tournament, that seemed to be perfectly the gentleman's game.

Magneto Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 exactly ...but plz u have to agree there is something wrong with this tournament .. thts back door buying of players is totally wrong theres no way gayle is so cheap :P The 'buying and selling' part gotta be addressed ... but also remember no one bought Gayle at the 2011 auction, so RCB really got him for cheap that year. No issues with that.

Magneto Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 actually he was jsut bought for tht year as an replacement for some one ...next year they needed to buy him again im not sure :hmmm: I guess it was a one-year contract and then they extended it ... by paying the same amount officially, and booze worth billions and a harem maybe :dontknow:
rkt.india Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 actually he was jsut bought for tht year as an replacement for some one ...next year they needed to buy him again im not sure :hmmm: Next year he was in the bid, but because RCB already had a contract with him so RCB had the first right to retain him, so his name didn't came to auction and now it was RCB's prerogative to as to what they want to pay him because they had retained him like CSK retained their 4 players, but as Jaddu got 2 million bid, so it is CSK's right that they would pay their marquee player MSD more than what Jaddu got in auction. Same for MI's retained players.
