rkt.india Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Firstpost @firstpostin Rt @ReutersIndia FLASH: Pak doctor accused of helping CIA find Osama bin Laden imprisoned for at least 30 years
ganeshran Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Technically what the doctor did does amount to treason - collaborating with a foreign intelligence agency to help them in a covert operation on Pakistani soil. However, this is a special case since it lead to the killing of the world's most wanted terrorist and so warrants a pardon.
Desi Cartman Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 This is confusing as most of our brothers from across the border don't believe that US killed Osama so why are they punishing this poor doctor :dontknow:
Texy Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Wait a min..I thought Pakis believed that Osama died 10 yrs ago and killer US/ jihadi jews staged the whole OBL death to blame Pak. So does this mean now they officially admit OBL was thriving in their country under full knowledge of ISI while the whole world was looking for him while Pak milked US for several million $$ in an effort to "catch" him?
jairamesh Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Isn't the doctor entitled to the bounty on Bin Laden, something like $25million? He probably didn't share 10% of it to Zardari hence the sentence.
Swing_n_Speed Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Why was the doc still in Pakistan? Should've fled the country long ago
