Where do you think this victory stands among our recent test series performances abroad ?

doesnt even come close to pak series.... in fact, nothing comes close to tht series....

My favourite is Australia 2003/2004. We might not have won that series, but we scared the world's best team in their own den , something that no team had managed to do a decade before or that or since.

Will vote when we've won the series. Even if we win this series, I'd still vote for the two innings defeats we inflicted on Pak in 2004.

That Pak team had a load of mega stars who had the gall to scoff at our batsmen ... and used to regularly engage in chest thumping lead by none other than the beloved mug - Shoaib Akhtar - Turned out that fashter he bowled the fashter it dissappeared ... and our man - Balaji - lol what a player ... BTW Does anybody remember the hype created by Pak fans and media that Swami was the next best thing and that he would do "things" to our FTB's ... ohhhh the cruel fate ... and how he now hates certain digits - 9 ,0 , 3 in a certain order .... Totally priceless .

LOL. I still remember how some mugs on the old Pak board on SN used to beat their chests like baboons and boast how Malcolm Sami and Actor would obliterate our lineup. Boy did the 3-2, 2 innings defeats and 309 cruelly end their collective pre-series orgasms or what! :hysterical:

Nothing like the series win against Pakis....also would rate the series against Aussies higher....came pretty close to winning that one.

Yes it was a drawn series on the final scoreboard and yes it was a win for India if cricket was played with proper rules and regulations.
