G_B_ Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Even if AAP eat some BJP votes i am ok ' date=' but problem is the non stop lying/over the top honestness is the irritating factor with these leaders & supporters.[/quote'] let them have their space. They remain a north Indian party. Dont have the local leaders to make a dent beyond NCR. As i said, my grandmother who is marathi speaker does not even understand what Yogendra Yadav says. He can be the most eloquent person in the world and that still is not going to make it through to her. What AAP is going to learn is, if you want to become a national party you need local leaders. AAP have no Marathi leaders in mumbai. Good luck thats all i will say. Modi identified this weakness and knows how to communicate to voters in their local language in Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi and Rajasthani.Ie he has made an attempt to become multi lingual.
randomGuy Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 AAP is popular in mumbai, pune. Just saw latest 50 donors to aap, 10 of them were frm mumbai, thane.
G_B_ Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 AAP is popular in mumbai, pune. Just saw latest 50 donors to aap, 10 of them were frm mumbai, thane. donors does not mean votes... keep disenfranchising the marathi voters through lack of representation. The shiv sena especially will be laughing all the way to a victory.
randomGuy Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 So how about we keep this thread for discussing broad trends ie opinion polls/people turning up at rallies./ poll strategy based around modi etc. nope, the issues raised by people are quite relevant to the thread.
Crookbond Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 and quite frankly, Modi should play as dirty as possible. Its never stopped the congress before. Infact make up as many lies as possible. Its the right strategy. The Indian electorate have the intelligence of a dodo. Most people probably dont even know who Natrajan is. Make as many populist and untrue statements as possible. How is that good and what does that achieve?
Yoda-esque Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 AAP is popular in mumbai, pune. Just saw latest 50 donors to aap, 10 of them were frm mumbai, thane. Thane is very pro-Ss

randomGuy Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 donors does not mean votes... keep disenfranchising the marathi voters through lack of representation. The shiv sena especially will be laughing all the way to a victory. medha patkar is given one of the three declared seats frm Mumbai. Sena lost thane in 2009 to congress due to mns btw
Yoda-esque Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 medha patkar is given one of the three declared seats frm Mumbai. Sena lost thane in 2009 to congress due to mns btw Yes,they did..but it still a long way for AAP there, impossible in fact
randomGuy Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Yes' date='they did..but it still a long way for AAP there, impossible in fact[/quote'] ok
Yoda-esque Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 ok You must understand that it is not a reflection of AAP's abilities. That area is fiercely Marathi Chauvinistic and AAP cannot play that game.
randomGuy Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 You must understand that it is not a reflection of AAP's abilities. That area is fiercely Marathi Chauvinist and AAP cannot play that game. i said 'ok' for acknowledging your point. Though what i have seen in delhi is tht aap are masters of playing horses for courses. They will field candidates taking everything into account
seedhi Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 So AAP fields Medha Patkar ... I guess they have given up on Gujarat ... not that they had much traction there anyway. One has to only inform Gujaratis that Patkar - who probably is the most hated person in Gujarat - is part of AAP from them to refuse to touch it by a bargepole.
ravishingravi Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Not much ' date=' a few mil[/quote'] Yeah Yoda. Can't see penetrating these cities. Certainly not Thane.
randomGuy Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 So, what are the chances of patkar, sanyal n gandhi winning? , ravi, yoda, GB , all??
