Was Vajpayee or Advani going from door to door ? Modi sure has his flaws. But not being connected with ground realities and in touch with people is not one if them.

I have not seen Modi interact with people - at least not in this election. He just gives speeches in rallies and has lately been giving tv interviews - I won't call any of that interacting with people. Rahul Gandhi has many faults but he did try to directly interact with the people through his chaupals etc.

Doesn't that count as interaction?
