Well, you are certainty confused. There are faults in everyone, even Modi. If you are out to search for the perfect formula, you are not going to get any. And if you believe Modi is all PR politics, then you are definitely a believer/victim of the Congress propaganda. From the very early on, Modi has been systematically democratized and perhaps, the only politician to have ever suffered so much scrutiny so the very idea that Modi is cheating is wrong.

As stated, knowingly or unknowingly, you and many others are guilty of over analyzing or putting too much scrutiny on Modi. The more you analyze someone, the more the person appears complicated, it's a very general principle. What you describe can very much be described about every other person, so this exclusivity for Modi is unhealthy and dangerous. This man has some strengths which our nation needs the most at today's stage. His detractors will continue to "make" irrelevant theories, comparisons which could then influences the public. However, historically Modi has always risen whenever there has been a challenge put forward. The way he has won Gujarat 3 times, in such a tough surrounding and dirty environment is commendable and sets the benchmark for 2014 elections.

The fact is that the actions of both Advani in the early 90s and Modi in 2000s has systematically driven away minorities from the BJP into the Congress's hands despite the fact that the Congress has done nothing except lip service to improve their condition. Instead of building on the foundation of the center of right reasonably honest and competent party that Vajpayee left in 2004, we have a caricature where leaders like Modi sell pipe dreams of Hindutva revivalism to dimwits on social media. People who have no clue on how much damage a polarized majority can do to the fabric of a nation, and who learn no lessons from our neighbour to the west who faces the disastrous consequences of forming a nation around a jingoistic purely religious identity.
