ravishingravi Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 you are correct:icflove: Reasons: Political alliance with Shiv Sena Affiliation with RSS and RSS' affiliation with groups like VHP and Bajrang Dal Advani Modi So, you are okay with scandals and corruption galore.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Oh!! He will beat Advani's performance' date=' rest assured. But the question is, is that good enough ?[/quote'] As I said in that post, given the corruption/high prices/crime etc the BJP would most probably have won some more seats than last time even if it went for collective leadership. But that "some more" figure has to convert into "a lot more" if they have to seriously challenge the Congress and seeing Modi's recent remarks/leanings towards Hindutva once again, currently I do not see BJP getting a lot more seats than last time.
The Outsider Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 So' date=' you are okay with scandals and corruption galore.[/quote'] Statement: X opposes BJP and supports Congress because of Shiv Sena, RSS, Advani, and Modi. Conclusion: X is okay with scandals and corruption. :hatsoff:
Crookbond Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Any proof? 2 smilies now. You mean to say Pappu fans (if there exist any out of the talwai chatu circles) on the Internet will abuse the Narendra Modi's sarcastic website owner. I know they are idiots of the highest order but not idiots enough to force to take down a satirical website of the enemy that too by abusing a fake site owner. No 'secular' word in your post. :hatsoff:
adi B Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Statement: X opposes BJP and supports Congress because of Shiv Sena, RSS, Advani, and Modi. Conclusion: X is okay with scandals and corruption. :hatsoff: OUCH!! if he votes for congress just because he is not happy with BJP and not bcoz of the good work of the govn is also a cr@p reason to vote for con party..the fact will remain that he is voting for congress knowing that this govn is the worst we have ever seen
ravishingravi Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Statement: X opposes BJP and supports Congress because of Shiv Sena, RSS, Advani, and Modi. Conclusion: X is okay with scandals and corruption. :hatsoff: Outy jumping the gun as usual. I am not questioning anything. I am merely trying to understand his position. He has every right to keep voting for Congress just because he is anti BJP. It is democracy.

bulbul Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Wow -28 written some posts , looks like some one sent him a memo.
bulbul Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Common sense' date=' Bulbul... Give me reasons why Pappu fans shut done Modi fun making website? So that Modi gets pooh-poohed on ICF? Is that a bigger return than having the fun site itself?[/quote'] When people generalizing without applying 'common sense' why you expect me to use common sense?
bulbul Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Great post , but little bit of information is missing For those who might have missed chancing upon the website, it was an adapted version of romneytaxplans.com where the cursor could never meet the button supposed to disclose Narendra Modi’s views on governance and 2002 riots. (See the report here) Really smart way of putting across an opinion, and nobody deserves to be “hounded” for that. The “suicide note” left on the website claimed that the contact address in the WHOIS database has a fake phone number. So he/she couldn’t be threatened on phone. Initially, there was no Twitter ID given along with link of the website, so abuses couldn’t have been delivered even on Twiter. As I said earlier, the website was a smart satire, and deserves to be online like rahulgandhiachievements.com and that’s why I made the offer to host the website on our servers. The offer stands open. Over seven hours have passed, and no response, while the owner has been responding to emails sent by mainstream media channels and even random Congress supporters like this. (see image) nmplans_gsurya For the record, the website owner created a Twitter handle @nmplans post midnight last night (technically earlier today) and surprisingly, its first tweet was addressed to @fakingnews – offering to do a twitter chat. I, as Faking News, could exchange just three tweets – asking him/her if he thought Narendra Modi was Indian version of Mitt Romney and if so, who was Indian Obama in his/her opinion – pretty ordinary questions actually. I was feeling sleepy. I told him that I’d resume the chat tomorrow (technically today) and went to sleep. And woke up to find @fakingnews mentioned in the suicide note. I thought the trolls must have abused him/her to the hilt while I was asleep. I searched for “@nmplans” on Twitter to find any abusive tweets directed towards him/her. There were none. Only my tweets showed up. I can safely assume that the website owner never interacted with anyone else on Twitter. So when did this “hounding” happen? And where? With Twitter and phone ruled out, the only place where it could happen was abusive emails sent to his/her email mentioned in the WHOIS database (assuming that email was also not fake, because later in the suicide note, different email was mentioned). It seems that the admin email clearly knows how to ignore emails, as he or she ignored Faking News’ offer to host the website on Firstpost servers. Frankly, this whole thing sounds fishy. But our commentators, especially on Twitter and in the mainstream media, went overboard and accepted everything as gospel truth. If trolls blindly accept everything positive about Narendra Modi, his critics blindly embrace every criticism. Mainstream media articles were published and the claims by the website owner were reproduced without fact-checking. The claims were tweeted and re-tweeted by all those who have been preaching to fact-check everything Narendra Modi says. You know, it’s so easy to claim victimhood. I have received legal threats and been spammed no end for removing certain articles. People have intruded into my personal space and tried to intimidate me. So it’s totally unfair to suggest as if Faking News was offered anything on platter and other satirical attempts are scuttled. My friend, who tweets at @bhak_sala was threatened by a politician in Haryana. The politician was of the “leading party” (refer to the suicide note). FIR against Unreal Times was filed for their video where they showed Manmohan Singh as Singham, again by the “leading party”. And of course, “opposition” got that cartoonist jailed who drew Narendra Modi naked and his posterior covered by Islamic skullcap. My point is – everyone faces these troubles, and we need to support each other. But if your priority is only to engage with mainstream media, and you choose to ignore the offer of showing solidarity (dozens other identifying themselves as Narendra Modi supporters too have offered to host the narendramodiplans.com website), I have no option but to suspect your motives. Fight for free speech. Cry for it, but spare the fake tears of victimhood http://www.firstpost.com/politics/why-narendramodiplans-com-has-some-explaining-to-do-963729.html

Totally independent investigation headed by 'pshecular' SIT appointed news editor of a satirical website whose name was included in the 'suicide note'. But, you never know because ------ " anything is possible in India." :isalute:

asterix Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 The Delhi BJP VP who was forced to resign appeared to be reasonable guy. I saw him on TV today... It's a shame really...people like him are and were assets for BJP. Now they are being hounded out in an autocratic way...all these things used to happen in Congress... What is this tallest leader BS. Modi has effing won only in Gujarat. He's effing being projected as some sort of Messiah... The guy lost elections in Uttaranchal, Himanchal, Karnataka, and previously in UP, where BJP came fourth... So what if he was being criticised by this guy. Being his own partyman, why not Modi gets bit "big hearted" and talked to him and tried to allay his concerns? Is he hell bent on dismantling BJP? I fear he might even hound out Shahnawaz Hussain and Naqvi to project himself Hindutva Messiah...
