Old guy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 mujamdar doing well again last season this guy bailed out his teams on number of occasions vvs laxman style
Magneto Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 235/2 effectively. Majumdar gets a 50. Good partnership between Majumdar and Mandeep. Sensible batting and leaving no opportunity to score; good running between the wickets.
Magneto Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 mujamdar doing well again last season this guy bailed out his teams on number of occasions vvs laxman style Actually, a 50+ score in each of the last five matches. 3 centuries in a row, a fifty and again this fifty.
Sidhoni Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 We are in a great position now! With 8 wickets still in hand, we can extend our lead to 300-350 and bowl them out on last day.
Old guy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Actually' date=' a 50+ score in each of the last five matches. 3 centuries in a row, a fifty and again this fifty.[/quote'] just needs one more good season he will be in team im sure he will do better then hacks like raina i know scoring at ranji is easy but to score under pressure thats something u dont find in every guy and tracks at end of season last time were bowler friendly right ?
JourneyMan Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 This is the only video I found of Shami so far [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsAM6w4tO3k]Tension Free Zone - Ball Balancing! - YouTube[/ame] :hysterical:
ShebbySB Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Decent' date=' not a 140+ bowler, around 135K or so.[/quote'] He can touch 140,anyway if he concentrates on his outswing then he can be handy in tests with the decent pace that he has got.
Old guy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 He can touch 140,anyway if he concentrates on his outswing then he can be handy in tests with the decent pace that he has got. he has enought pace to get zip and batsmen dont have time to adjust maybe he will be our next zack :two_thumbs_up:
rkt.india Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 He can touch 140,anyway if he concentrates on his outswing then he can be handy in tests with the decent pace that he has got. Swing with decent pace is better than just raw pace.

He actually played in only one Ranji game last year against Baroda. Rest of the scores were in the Duleep Trophy. The wickets were not exactly green, but were neither pattas. Hardly any 500+ scores. Has an assured technique, runs well between wickets and has a good temperament. I think some of these players should play in the tour games against England and Australia.
Magneto Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 he has enought pace to get zip and batsmen dont have time to adjust maybe he will be our next zack :two_thumbs_up: Shami has great potential, the last thing we should do is to fast track him and make him fade away soon.
rkt.india Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 bad light again. I dont see result in this match due to this bad light everyday and rain interruption on day one.
Magneto Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 What is Neil Wagner's pace? Nice action :agree:
Old guy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Shami has great potential' date=' the last thing we should do is to fast track him and make him fade away soon.[/quote'] yes ...and im jsut saying dont expect 140+ bowler even if we find some one like zack i will be very happy! this guy is special and some how selectors got it right by selecting him in these a games hopefully will be ready by next year cos honestly playing too much cricket at state level can also hurt u need to pick him at right time now is not right but maybe in a year he will be ready and about mini laxman...like i said when u have temperament like that u have great chance of succeeding at highest level i ust dont get this how can they select players like raina who have bad records in fc cricket? i can understand rohit he deserves it but raina comes in how ? even badri would have been understandable if he was younger
Magneto Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 bad light again. I dont see result in this match due to this bad light everyday and rain interruption on day one. Still 82 overs bowled in the day + innings change. If India bats for about 15 overs tomorrow and declares, there is a faint chance. Hope they start half an hour early.
rkt.india Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 What is Neil Wagner's pace? Nice action :agree: 135-145K..both Wagner and Mckay.

Otherwise, how many knew what he does before that. Umesh Yadav also came into limelight through Duleep trophy in 2008.
