Oh, and hear you squeal when you talk about the 70's etc As the inventors of the game, we had a vested interest. We were and still are a lot more honest and fair in our dealings than the BCCI Still we are number one despite your boards crooked dealings, behind closed doors
You are a paki:hysterical::hysterical:

We will see. Your team is crap at the moment
Didn't the same crap team whitewash your team not long ago ? :haha::haha: Crap is what you call England football team. I mean Ravindra Jadeja has done more for India than Wayne Rooney for England. :hysterical::hysterical: Yet Wayne Rooney is World class according to English fans. :giggle:

Just for the benefit of Clarke and any others who may be interested' date=' JZ Fredricks is not exactly a blanket BCCI-supporting chap and his skepticism of xEye especially is based on the logic that he sees.[/quote'] That's great, and i am not one who thinks HE is god. If and when there's evidence that HE/XE/VE is similar or worse than the likes of Bucknor, i'll support the current system. My point here is very simple, i take the article at face value and believe actual testing was performed by a independent Cambridge univ professor & his team. If that is proven to be incorrect, to hell with all of the above tracking systems. Until that happens, the skeptics have a big **** task at hand, especially when they have to point to some decision from the WC semifinal more than a year back while the rest of us wonder if the test match that finished less than two days back could have been any worse.

Er no! We beat you four nil Then you lost 4-0 against the Aus Only in your own back yard are you a good team and in November when we beat you, despite your bending the rules to suit you. Then you will have no legs at all to stand on. You will be as we say here, 'A busted flush'

Backyard. :hysterical: We have won 4 test series outside Asia in last decade. :cantstop: England have won 0 test series in Asia last decade. :haha::haha: Didn't England got witewashed in UAE recently.:cantstop: It was funny England hosting 3 consecutive ODI WC, yet they couldn't win any of those. :hysterical::hysterical: Wayne Rooney a World class according to English fans.

I care nothing about football at all, never have. All those UAE games were close and we committed the cardinal sin of trying to score like in English or Aus conditions We only have ourselves to blame. I bet if we played them again that the result would be different now

1) ATP doesn't use predictive aspect. they only rely on what actually happened and not what might have happened. There is also the aspect of how far the measurements were made from' date=' what frame rates are used. Add to the fact the inherent differences of the impact of the calls on the game. you are comparing apple and oranges.[/quote'] But then your point is that HE Innovations is likely to be some crony organization. You are very keen to mention the salesman's pitch when desired and ignore the ramifications of the world's premier Professional Tennis body dealing with such a body for the crucial aspects of the game. Tennis though isn't our primary discussion here. Agreed on both counts. Any comments on Cambridge Univ ? Are they also part of the conspiracy ?

I bet if Asif/Aamer didn't spot fix , England would have lost 4-0 in a 3 match test series in UAE. I bet had India not won WC , Indian players wouldn't have given up so easily as they did in ENG and OZ.

Good for you. I for one don't trust the salesman's pitch if he can't show me proof of his claims
Bull****! you accept a dozen things every single day with looking at the test figures. The restaurant you eat at, the detergent you use and so on.
If I'm going to pay for it, you bet your ass. do you buy a car w/o test driving it? Do you buy any electronics w/o multiple independent reviews
Watching on television is as much testing as one shall get for HE. Which is similar to driving a car, except you drive a car a mile or two. What you are talking about would be how Consumer Reports obtained the torque/bhp vs rpm curves, their *method of testing* in your own words. I'll trust their & other reviews, you go ahead and demand their methodology while you use public transport until you are fully convinced. Which i hope has drivers with better judgement than Dharmasena & Co.
I make a living experimentally testing/verifying claims made by quantum mechanics.
It was a rhetorical question, you might as well test the effect of podophyllium hexandrum and hippophae rhamnoides on cells exposed to radiation, there will be a million other things you can't verify.
If and when they provide prof of their claims. Has HE or ICC shown any proof their claims? LAst check their testing was done using bowling machines. frickin bowling machines
Now bowling machines are the problem ? Does the cricket pitch discriminate between a human being & a machine ?
Did you see he world cup semifinal at all? As far as human vs software for interpretting visual data read this post by in RSC by Bharat.
Did you bunch of critics see the test match that ended 2 days back ? Strange how you have to go so far back to prove some conflict of opinion while there's a crisis ever so often.
So why not show that information to the public? It has been about 4 years of fighting about this!
You mean among the few voices here and there as opposed to all boards (except BCCI) and now Cambridge Univ group's backing ? Even if you have a valid point, how's the status quo working out ?
JZF did the legwork and was able verify that quoted accuracy from sales brochure is far from acceptable. He presented this information for every one to see. what do you have from MCC/ICC or HE?
A dead link from hawk eye innovations and some numbers he/she is unsure about, that's all there was in the link.
Bingo! the audience get a nice little graphic and they fall for it hook line and sinker. given how little needs to be done ICC/HE/MCC needs to do to shut the skeptics up and the fact that they haven't done it in 4 years makes me question their motives.
Which now is ICC+MCC+HE+All* cricket boards+Cambridge ?

You ask cricketers what is the biggest achievement as a cricketer ? Winning the WC.
Only for you kids. Ask an aussi and it will be winning the Ashes, a Englishman will say the same. Second to that is being the best test side and for us, beating SA and India

I would rather like to beleive in established scientific theories and live in a concurrent world that two parties will keep working hard either to proove it wrong or rectify it better, as long as it helps manage a stable value of importance to rationally wider parts of society than very few self-righteous skeptical views and their satisfactions.

0-8 trashing is true, but despite that India still has done better than England in the past few years. India competed better in England(won series in 2003) than England did in a past 10 years in India.
