Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 All we need is intent from BCCI to sort out our bowling woes and things will change. At the moment I doubt BCCI really cares about anything other than IPL A decent pace academy for managing and grooming upcoming pacers with right mentors and proper coaching/training setup can do wonders for us but it will take time' date=' money and commitment from BCCI. I suspect they will fall short in all 3 respects :(([/quote'] true but its not that bad there are alwyas some hard working cricketers who will make it but ya if we concentrate and and are even 50 as efficent as australia we will be unbeatable but this problem is every where in this country corruption inefficency lack of support its not just cricket so its wrong ti expect anything will change :giggle:
vvvslaxman Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 wicket down. we have our own Sohail Tanvir albeit right handed version :cantstop:
Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 wicket down. we have our own Sohail Tanvir albeit right handed version :cantstop: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

If we continue with the trend we may get a Srinath or a Zak every decade but that won't help us much
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 wicket down. we have our own Sohail Tanvir albeit right handed version :cantstop: A bit slower as well :winky:

Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Sandeep Sharma is a younger version of PK. Swings the ball quite a lot and would be a great bowler to bowl 7-8 overs with the new ball.
Trundler27 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 sandeep is frustrating the batters and passi is getting the wickets.... ideal bowling partnership Both bowlers bowling 129 - 131 kph...... not bad.... looks like they are focusing on swing. Sandeep getting massive in-swing (to a righty) and Passi getting outswing (to a right hander).
Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Sandeep Sharma is a younger version of PK. Swings the ball quite a lot and would be a great bowler to bowl 7-8 overs with the new ball. he is different he has control at this age :giggle:
surajmal Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Sandeep Sharma is a younger version of PK. Swings the ball quite a lot and would be a great bowler to bowl 7-8 overs with the new ball. S Sharma >>> PK as a fielder. PK is ashwin's cousin in that regard.
Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 130k is not bad at this level aussies bowlers after 3 overs were bowling under 130 yesterday :P but tht kalaria was too slow
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 he is different he has control at this age :giggle: That's why I said a younger version of PK, not a younger PK :giggle:
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 If we get another decent pacer to back these two we would be in a much better position in the tourney.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 S Sharma >>> PK as a fielder. PK is ashwin's cousin in that regard. Was talking about bowling, not other aspects of the game
