panther Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 What about lala' date=' he can do anything :finger:[/quote'] If sreesanth is playing 2015 world cup than india will have a better chance of getting out the group stages. And if they want to reach the semi-final than he should be made captain.
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 If sreesanth is playing 2015 world cup than india will have a better chance of getting out the group stages. And if they want to reach the semi-final than he should be made captain. My signature is proof of his achievements..
Pioneer Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 LOL' date=' you aren't doing much to change that whole '[b']stupid inbred paki dole scrounger clueless-about-cricket brap brap brap innit' stereotype that everybody comes up with when they think about paki cricket 'fans'. but since im bored right now, i'll play along anyway: 1. will the paki "batting" lineup even make 3 figures in australia? 2. isn't zia ul haq already dead? "brah" you just described yourself perfectly. Anyways, I've always been a fan of Irfan Pathan, loved his hatrick against us, insane deliveries. After he lost his action, he lost his speed and swing but it seemed like he had part of his old action back against SL yesterday. Swung it like a mofo

vamos_rafa Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Ironically MS keeps on mentioninig Jadeja in every Press conferences. He seems to be missing him.
CG Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 He had change even in Aus, but was very mechanical, then he worked on this action after Aus tour and tried that action in IPL, but wasn't stable and was going back and forth on his action every next match. This is much better. He must stick to this. He may not generate pace, but will more accurate as he is more stable at the crease and not falling. Though, this action is still not what when he first that was very different that had quicker runup, jump forward at the crease, and more side. He should always play as #7 bat and third seamer. That way we can play 2 seamers and 2 spinners in subcontinent or an extra seamer in place of a spinner in seaming conditions and need to give Pathan and Ashwin more responsibility as batsmen and they both are capable batsmen. Mid ipl was when i noticed the change and his performances improved.
CG Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 The cycle once again begins, Crapthan starts brain washing people with a good performance here and there, cements himself into the side, then the slide once again begins and he is exposed for the club cricketer that he is. Gap of a couple of years out of the national side and rinse and repeat  :facepalm: what can he do if you start making him scapegoat for eveyr defeat.where are so called good bowlers like Vinay kumar,Praveen kumar average 33 and 35+ with economy near 6 .if persisted pathan will be an useful allrounder in odis.
Trundler27 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Beautiful thread.. So far it has it all.... Humor (the feed part), drama (the paki whining), suspense (will pathan be consistent on this tour), and thrill (pathan changed his action and bowled well again lol) My 2 cents: Irfan is by a long distance the best seaming all-rounder in India's current cricket setup. No one even comes close to his natural ability (his bowling is limited but then so is the bowling of 99% of our domestic trundler brigade). Only trundie who outperforms irfan based on bowling skill is peekay and his batting is such a shame to be honest. So irfan will always remain on the fringes of the national side. It is really up to him to show sufficient development as a bowler to cement his spot and for that we need at least 1 full season of decent bowling performances.
1983-2011 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 why does he have to score runs, if he's taking wickets at good economy rates. surely that's more than good enough.
Vilander Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 "brah" you just described yourself perfectly. Anyways, I've always been a fan of Irfan Pathan, loved his hatrick against us, insane deliveries. Swung it like a mofo say the brah next time geneuinly and the next, eventually he will respond genuinely. BTW he swung it partly because of his release zone, did you notice that he had two distinct release zones on for bounce and one for swing, hope he adds some pace.
