We are doomed in test cricket, we had a batting attack that carried a mediocre test bowling with it. Now with most of the batting prowess gone we will be vulnerable at home as well. Beating Eng 4-0? I'd take a 1-0 with current team. I said No. 1 by the end of next year and Top 2,3 by end of this year if this post was for me. :eviltongue:

Even I desperately want us to win against England in tests, IDK about ODIs against England, they are shite in ODIs esp. in SC and there's no chance of whitewash.. hence win or loss I dont mind... Pakistan yes, its important to win against them because of the H2H stuff. But I dont give any shite about the rankings stuff.. You say you want India on top .. What advantage that will give if we get to the top without developing the proper side.. we will again flop in SAF starting 2014 and again lose in England in 2014 .. Do you want that?? I Dont mind we losing against Australia and winning against England even if its just by 1-0(Cant lose against England in India cause it would be a shame) and developing a proper good test side with youn players who can hold India at no.1 for a long time in future.

Don't give such crap statements.. you know better the difference of what was and what today is the Indian side.. That time our Maharathis were not playing like Crap .. Now they are.. Plus By then we might be without Tendulkar and Laxman and unless we have a solid good squad , we will be whitewashed. Its always better to build a solid side by trying and testing future prospects at home even if we lose a few series or we dont get to No.1 in Rankings.
