Saying that the solution is not to throw more money at the public schools, but to manage them better. Conservatives are for school choice and vouchers. You can look it up.

You talk big reforms but ignore the reality that passing even the credit card bill of rights act required allowing guns in national parks :haha: The answer was out there once ACA was passed and he was asked by a citizen on why the public option did not pass; the answer's out there, lack of support in the Senate. Unless you're suggesting the President act like Donald Trump and yell at Congress "Listen you ******* you're gonna pass the bill". Filibuster is the perfect example of Obama, and Democrats, lack of spine actually. Everytime there is a contentious issue that would need a voting, you have Rachel Maddows and Lawrence O' Donnell suggesting how filibuster means 51% in support being enough, and not 60% has Republicans insist. Well guess what, even the 51% voting does not happen. Why? Democrats POV - Obama is a great guy who does not want to force laws on other people's throats. Republican POV - Obama was scared because he won't get 51% even, his own party members (like NE Senator) would vote against him. It is not that Obama has made many regulations that were passed by 51% as laws you know.

There is the element of his seeking a second term in all this, which is a valid criticism. Same applies to the virtual amnesty provided to young illegals, bloody vote bank politics from his end.

I am very much certain that Obama will win. In a re-election campaign, a sitting President usually loses when the opponent is someone outstanding (which Romney is not) or if the President himself has done very badly in his 4 years (which Obama hasn't) so I think Obama shouldn't lose.

Sachin=GOD Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 The problems that I have seen are * Republicans have worked on making this one term presidency from day 1, no support at all and the propoganda never stopped * People want quick results, he was expected to turn the economy on its head in 4 years + Global economy went south * He was very popular and people expected him to do magic, over expectation IMO thats the biggest problem he is facing in this campaign. In 2008 again and again and again he promised "change" but it was obvious that he would not be able to deliver all that and when the time came for re-election, he would have to defend himself for not delivering and thats exactly what is happening now.

It is not about expectations etc, for all his rhetoric reputation he has been always behind the ball when shaping public opinion especially health care, tax cuts etc. Guantanamo bay is still open Backed out of gay/lesb issue by saying state issue instead of calling it civil rights (which is what it is) Has used the dreaded 'national security' excuse far more than even his predecessor GWB. The terms collateral damage, killing of US citizens without due process etc continue on gloriously. I think he is a nice guy but he was over his head in the first term, if he does get elected again hopefully he does something to match his charisma and rheotric

Romney is the best of the lot.

He will raise some valid points about economy but will then quickly hide behind some statements taken out of context. He himself will make really stupid statements but will spend millions to show one Obamam statement out of context. The republicans accuse liberals of being arrogant etc but when someone tries to give one answer to a republican on fox news they just get upset and change questions and ask stupid things like " How much money did obama give to his half brother". I mean WTF .. they whinge all day that they wanna discuss real issues but at every opportunity they start changing topics every 30 seconds. For instance I agree that you cant say we will boycott a chain of restaurants because one of the owner is a contributor for same sex marraige especially when the President had the same view till a few weeks ago but then how the feck does the same host (Hannity & Co) ask Obama to refuse contribution from people like Bill Maher, isnt that free speech too ? The problem is that there is no discussion , its only hatred and insults. Even if one tries to listen to Romney and his party, one just gets to hear hatred for Obama
