tatters Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Sharma's a dud. Typical young Indian batsman that can't handle semi-difficult conditions. The only stand out young batsman is Kohli. Raina, Sharma etc. are sub-par and will ensure India won't compete at the level of England and SA. If India can find another 2 or 3 Virat Kohli's (and somehow get a couple of good bowlers...it's strange...across the border they have no problem finding top bowlers) then we can compete. Otherwise it's grim.

A player capable of doing well at the international stage will respond by making even more runs in domestic cricket. And hopefully he will return hungrier than ever. He should be taught a lesson and know that spots in Indian team are not handed out based on talent alone.
