Desi Cartman Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 I created this thread 3 years ago which means that I can officially "review" 3D * Get it unless you are paying extra for it * You will never use it, I really mean almost never * The 3D content online is very limited, there is nothing on Netflix, HBOgo or even PPV movies * You need a seriously huge TV, I have 60 inch TV if not bigger and it's not fun watching 3D on it. I have an eye condition which means that I get a headache 15-20 minutes into watching 3D so we usually watch a movie in 3D for the first few mins only lol. I am yet to meet someone who said that paying extra for 3D was totally worth it.
Cricketics Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 It is one of those features which is futile to have. 4k etc is where tech should be looked at focused and I am glad 3d idea is fading away since it just adds up to the cost of a nice UHD tv and keeps people away from buying a tv set.

My brother recently bought a 4k tv and his reviews are mixed. There isnt a lot of improvement visible from HD to 4k secondly, there isnt a lot of 4k content for usual viewing.
