Mariyam Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Pune should be a good choice. Decent infrastructure, not overburdened. Lots of sports enthusiasts (read vela students) and they've recently hosted a few international events- Armed Forces Meet and the Jnr Commonwealth Games ( not too sure). And the proximity to Mumbai always helps.
Jersey #10 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 host it in lahor pakistan and all the shooting medals would be won by pakistan

jind Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Ludhiana, Ludhiana>Chandigarh :--D Ludhiana is struggling to keep up with the infrastructure with its increasing population and is getting quite congested especially the traffic. There are plans to build a metro there. Let's see how long it takes. If anything, a cricket stadium should've been built there instead of Mohali. We would have seen a lot more crowds at the stadium there. Btw, new development projects are planned for Mullanpur (not the one in Ludhiana but the one near Chandigarh) termed as the 'New Chandigarh'. A cricket stadium and a cancer hospital is proposed to be built there. Interesting proposed developments but let's see how well they're carried out.
KhanSaab Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Delhi is the only logical choice for the illogical choice of India.

yoda Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Given the Common wealth fiasco, we shouldn't bother for a decade or two to even think of bidding. Spend the money on sports infrastructure.
