If you do well against Australia but fail against everyone else, you are forgiven as an England cricketer. Case in point in our current set-up: Big Dunc.

Minnow basher is another term I'd use. The only attacks he's scored heavily against are that weak Aussie Ashes line-up, and our dear Munaf Patels and RP Singhs. But watch him now against South Africa. Or in 2010 against Pakistan. Or the earlier great Aussie attack. The guy looks clueless.

Don't think so. Cook is more than decent. Maybe Strauss should be replaced by someone else but Cook is a pretty good player to have. And to boot he's more than handy in odis as well.
