Sehwag1830 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Shouldn't Dhoni also resign as test captain ? I think he should follow strauss and resign captaincy.
BERGKAMP Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 yes it would be best for the team, but he has too many endorsements and sponsorships riding on it so it will never happen.
Crookbond Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I think Sehwag should follow Laxman and Dravid into retirement.
ravishingravi Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 It is truly amazing that after 8-0. Yes 8 freaking nil. This guy is not only in the test team but also the leader of the pack still. Yeh mera India
CSK Fan Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Why, did Laxman send some text messages to Pakistan?
Pagalpanti Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 It is truly amazing that after 8-0. Yes 8 freaking nil. This guy is not only in the test team but also the leader of the pack still. Yeh mera India Technically 7-0 if Dhoni was the reason team lost why did Sehwag fail in 4th test as well? :dontknow:
panther Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 should be sacked for the simple reason of picking vinay kumar at perth lol.
Magneto Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 With the way we batted and bowled, most captains (chosen from within Team India) would have gone at least 6-0. :giggle: It's okay to DROP Dhoni based on his overseas performances, but it's unfair to make him the scapegoat for the failures.

Based on that, sehwag and Gambhir should also be dropped. Atleast he was better than those 2 combined!
Magneto Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Based on that' date=' sehwag and Gambhir should also be dropped. Atleast he was better than those 2 combined![/quote'] Their replacements were RUBBISH in A-tours and everywhere; at least Dhoni's replacement can keep.
vamos_rafa Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Their replacements were RUBBISH in A-tours and everywhere; at least Dhoni's replacement can keep. Waah. TINA at it's best!!
Crookbond Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Actually, it will be fun when Dhoni retires. We won't have a keeper who bats well even in the SC conditions then. :giggle:
Magneto Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Waah. TINA at it's best!! TINA is always part and parcel of sports. You only think of replacing a proven player if his replacement is any good. I can hope Gambhir/Sehwag to click twice in 3 Tests, but I cannot hope Mukund/Rahane to click even once in 3 Tests (based on their overseas performances).

He's been a sitting duck for quite long now, outside the SC.
Magneto Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 But the problem is you are hoping against hope atleast for Sehwag. He's been a sitting duck for quite long now' date=' outside the SC.[/quote'] True. Ditto for Gambhir. But till a new player shows some grit and determination, they'll not be replaced. Apart from the 100 at a tour game, Mukund has done zilch. The way Gambhir scored consistently to replace Jaffer, someone has to do the same to replace Gauti/Sehwag.
Sidhoni Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Dhoni still did better than Sehwag, Gauti, Laxman and Raina despite being only a keeper-batsman whereas others were in the team as "specialist" batsmen. Any other captain from the world would not have done any better than him with the bowling resources we had and with the way the batsmen were constantly falling.
Crookbond Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 But the problem is you are hoping against hope atleast for Sehwag. He's been a sitting duck for quite long now' date=' outside the SC.[/quote'] Push him down the order! :hitler:
