TINA is always part and parcel of sports. You only think of replacing a proven player if his replacement is any good. I can hope Gambhir/Sehwag to click twice in 3 Tests, but I cannot hope Mukund/Rahane to click even once in 3 Tests (based on their overseas performances).

But till a new player shows some grit and determination, they'll not be replaced. Apart from the 100 at a tour game, Mukund has done zilch. The way Gambhir scored consistently to replace Jaffer, someone has to do the same to replace Gauti/Sehwag.

Dhoni still did better than Sehwag, Gauti, Laxman and Raina despite being only a keeper-batsman whereas others were in the team as "specialist" batsmen.
