SLICKR392 Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Who did you think was this 'previous' team? England!? They were No. 1 in T20 before they revised the ranking. No.1 in ODI for a short while aswell.
Magneto Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 England!? They were No. 1 in T20 before they revised the ranking. No.1 in ODI for a short while aswell. Oh okay. So England was No.1 in Tests and ODIs a month back, but then they were not No.1 in T20s? Any idea exactly when they were No.1 in T20s?

Magneto Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Since the T20 rankings were introduced. Okay. So England lost its T20 No.1 ranking and gained its ODI No.1 ranking simultaneously in the first week of August when the tables were annually updated. Btw, great to see Australia at the No.9 position in the T20 tables even below Bangladesh

jairamesh Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 England Number 1 in ODIs (yup it's happened, Trott, Bell, Bops, Cook, Jimmy rule the roost ) Well who would have thought it. Congrats to England  England confirm Number 1 status in ODIs for at least three months, and small thanks to Pakistan (bunch of jokers, getting white-washed at home by England in ODIs:headshake:).
