Shami is on India A tour of New Zealand' date=' NO?[/quote'] The tour has ended a few days back , also selectors are do do's, these zonal tournaments are nonsense , look at the teams, pathetic selections with trundlers, this might be Rayudu's year,Kaushik Reddy, Samad Fallah, Mangaraj lol, all the bowlers selected are so pathetic, only one maybe to watch out for is Ishwar Pandey. If the selectors are so stupid and just look at numbers to pickup teams or zonal quotas, let all domestic tourney have a selectors 11, this team comprises of talented players who were either in the scheme of things in the past or were injured and did not last the whole season last year, players like Tyagi, Rayudu, Tyagi, Gony, VRV, Anwar Ahmed, Shami, Abu, and other batters, bowlers who actually have the talent and need to be looked at , selections based on talent, not quotas or just stats.

Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Nilesh Kulkarni and Karsan Ghavri, former India players and members of the CIC, and Milind Rege, MCA selector, all stepped down, during the last Cricket Improvement Committee meeting held on Saturday. The trio was, reportedly, not happy with the attitude of Deepak Patil, senior inspector with the Mumbai Police and also a member of CIC’s managing committee. Reports suggest Patil spoke rudely to the cricketers.

This domestic season will be very critical, we have lost quite a few experienced cricketers especially in test's, also have to plan ahead for Sachin and Zaheer, selectors should be brave and look for talent and not fall back on tried tested failures or mediocre players, also Dhoni needs to go from test side. Domestic fast bowlers need to be looked at as our bowling stocks are a zero, Gony, Tyagi, Shami, VRV, Suyal,these bowlers have relative experience and also have pace when fit, they have to be looked at an whoever is bowling well should be tried this season, Anwar Ahmed is one youngster who seems to have what it takes to go to the next level. Looking at pathetic zonal and ROI selections looks like we will prefer PK, VK, Dinda, along with all the trundlers who have no hopes of being decent test bowlers.What is the point of playing Rituraj Singh who bowls in a similar style and pace as Chris Harris , how can he be our best domestic bowler in a zonal side, CZ has PK , BK,RR Singh in the bowling line up lol, only North Zone has decent bowlers and they should go on to win the tourney unless the results are decided by tracks. Three separate teams for T20, ODI, TEST will also add to out player pool and give us more options and give the players a chance to show their skills also enough rest to recuperate,different captains with different ideas will make all the three teams more competitive and help us fine a successor to Dhoni
