Again how much credit does he deserve for the world cup? And shouldnt proportional credit be given for the loses? I didnt hear Dhoni fans complain about dhoni hogging the limelights, most ad deals, and given credit as the most successful captain when India won the world cup. Why this sudden talk of blaming the whole team then?
so r u saying he's the sole reason for the team's losses under him. & what kinda proportional credit u think he deserves for those loses?

Check the match thread for SA Pak match the way pitch was behaving and considering we were playing on the same track, we had to go with 3 spinners. If we hadn't gone with 3 spinners based on first innings itself(slow and low track) people would be critising MSD here that why didn't he chose 3 spinners on such a minefield. Sehwag has become Bradman in hindsight but the kind of form he was going through, it had to be him.
Fans say diff things its up to captain to make a decison.India playing 3 spinners on any track is a luxury as we have enough spin options. Also bhajji and chawla were not first choice but got a game as people were rested .All of this is the culmination of 1 1/2 years of mis mangement and lack of accountabilty.World cup win brought more bad than good it just make players complacent .

Dropping Sehwag should never be an option - the guy is a once in a generation batsman. There are too many journeymen who should face the ax before Sehwag. And for those who will bring up "everyone was asking for him to be dropped blah blah" don't bother responding to this post, rather talk to "everyone". What's Dhoni's T20 pedigree to drop Sehwag? What's Yuvraj's form and fitness to be played ahead of Sehwag? What's Rohit Sharma's performance compared to Sehwag? Sehwag is one of the greatest batsmen of his generation and though he has been inconsistent off late there is no one as good to replace him. He must play till we've exhausted and replaced all other journeymen batsmen we are carrying in the side.

He should take responsibility and resign from captaincy

Totally agree. Sehwag is the equivalent of a flair player in football, an old number 10, he won't always play well but when he does its game over for the opposition. The number of journeymen, has-beens and never will make-its in this team is embarrassing. Its like a bad school reunion party. Play your gun players (of which there are very few in this team) and hope for the best cause there is certianly no strategy from the comedy act that is Dhoni & Fletcher.

Darren Sammy is a contender after bowling Samuels instead of Narine in the last over. He's lucky that Windies won, otherwise the media would have been all over him. Was he punishing Narine for the misfield in the last over of NZ innings?:hmmm:
