Spending cuts is a hogwash. Housing market collapse, two wars, Automobile industry failure... if you inherit them.. you wouldn't be talking like republicans. Not to forget blocking every proposal that Liberals proposed. At the end of the day Republican fools spent so much money and lives to kill the wrong guy. Liberals without losing any lives and without much money got the right guy. :giggle:

ganeshran
Ohio and Florida are the key. If Obama gets them he wins. IMO The electoral votes should be distributed proportionally rather than going all to the winner.

For Romney he has to win Ohio.

Sachin=GOD
Ohio and Florida are the key. If Obama gets them he wins. IMO The electoral votes should be distributed proportionally rather than going all to the winner. A close election was always going to come down to the swing states. Right now Obama seems to be leading in Ohio by a decent margin while Romney seems to have a slight edge in Florida so overall Obama's position looks better than Romney........................but again, 12 days is a LONG time in politics. That would be good but it would also mean even more money being spent on campaigns - currently the candidates usually don't spend that much in states where they know they don't have any chance.
