express bowling Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Siddharth Kaul is quite impressive. The guy has pace in the air. Fastest of 141.4 k. Lots of deliveries between 135 k and 140 k in domestic speed guns which are often slower. Most importantly, he is getting zip off the pitch. He seams and swings the ball both ways and has a good yorker. His control needs to improve though but overall very encouraging prospect.

His control needs to improve though but overall very encouraging prospect.[/quote'] In 2009, when Umesh Yadav played his first Duleep match, he had similar pace, fastest of 141K and he was 22 too, Kaul also is 22. I am sure he too will gain a bit more pace in next 2 years.

rkt.india Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Don't remember Taruwar Kohli bowling during the U19 days, when Virat used to bowl regularly. Seems he has developed his bowling now. No, he used to bowl even then too and was pretty decent medium pacer.

Kaul and Laddha are impressive but Sandeep Sharma was pretty disappointing. Heard a lot if good things but he does nit get zip off the pitch and that is a worry.
