varun Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Re: Favourite Drink? No Radhika. This is different.. Here's a recipe: http://www.top-indian-recipes.com/blog/kanji-carrot-juice/ I remember this being made in a traditional mitti ka matka, and the cool part was.. that matka never got over, 'coz it keeps fermentin or somethin, n u keep puttin water in it !! :duh: And also, it makes your tongue and mouth totally red, something else that my young mind used to find fascinating. Haven't had it in ages though, I was a kid when my aunt used to make it.

Captain of Bhangra Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Re: Favourite Drink? Bacardi and Coke Occasionally JD & Coke... Not a big fan of beer either, but if I have to, I tend to stick to Carling, or if in an Indian restaurant, then it obviously has to be Cobra. For someone who isn't that fond of beer, I do drink quite a lot of it...

Gambit Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 Re: Favourite Drink? Nothing wrong with JD and OJ. Give it a go. :wtg:
Captain of Bhangra Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Re: Favourite Drink? Nothing wrong with JD and OJ. Give it a go. :wtg: I actually invented a weirder combo than that. The day after my wedding, when I went to my in-laws to officially take my wife home, me and my cousin did a bottle of Bacardi between the 2 of us. He was absolutely smashed (but he is only a kid, he'll be 17 next month). I was quite merry too. During this episode, I invented this: It wasn't bad either!...
SachDan Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Tried a whole lot of those Videshi brands.....nothing matches the one made from Cashew in the villages while in college,a friend used to bring that 'Home made drink'...wow it was special....Just a glass is enough. Its almost like the Pheny we get in Goa.
