nevada Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Magnificent, inspirational. He signed off in style with the '92 world cup but I think the crowning jewel of his career was the drawn series against the West Indies on their own turf in '88. If luck had co-operated they would have won that series and it would have been the all time great upset in cricket history.
Pakistan Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Proud to be from country of Imran Khan. Hopefully, he will celebrate his next birthday as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Debutant Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Proud to be from country of Imran Khan. Hopefully' date=' he will celebrate his next birthday as Prime Minister of Pakistan.[/quote'] Great player no doubt but now a days have become a typical politician giving insane comments and wets his pants when hears about taliban terrorists
StatsRock Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Lurker, :hatsoff: ...then have the majestic leap with a deadly in-swinger that took off the off stump of that other great thespian Sunil Gavaskar with the first ball of the Test at Jaipur. Minor nitpick -> Gavaskar was caught at slip. Imran bowled Gavaskar in the first over at the Sharjah one dayers in Dec and Apr that season.
Texy Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 One of the few players from Pakistan I actually admire! Wish he could teach our bowlers a thing or two.
van_Anzah Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 A man of principles! Wish him luck in his endeavours trying to resuscitate Pakistan.

And if any post can pull you in so we can all enjoy some gems from you, that is smashing. Yes you are right, he was caught in first slip. Caught Miandad bowled Imran. :agree:
