Crookbond
One brilliant knock on a flat wicket, mixed with struggles against spin/bounce/swing bowling - sums up Yuvraj Singh's career. Link to comment

saneindian
He will be back in the test side again after some good performances in the shorter format. Don't think its going to change any sooner unless there is a complete overhaul of the test side and all non performers are booted out. Link to comment

amiret
I see the media haven't really done any Yuvi bashing. Sachin and Dhoni haven't been spared for obvious reasons, but Yuvraj has been largely left to go scot free. Is it because of the sympathy prevailing after his cancer battle? of course. He has never been a test quality batsman. He has been a miserable failure overseas against Zim,Aus,WI,Bang.... 2007 West Indies tour and 2008 Aus tour Anil Kumble averaged more than Yuvi . asterix
NEVER has been test class, NEVER will. Wake up Dhobi & braindead selectors. Well they knew it. But you know it's that media created hype of "UV fought Cancer and came back to play Test Kirket and he should be given the deserved respekt for whatever he's done for Indian kirket"... Manny_Pacquiao
I think they picked him for the test series so he could get some practice before the Odis. Good move Link to comment
