Tiger-Don Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Ok all bullshit apart, i think it really is time for India to invite to play at least an ODI series. India is the Mecca of Cricket, and every single team in this goddamn world wants to play here and really does deserve to play here. 2012 so far has been a successful year for Bangladeshi in ODIs and also they've found some new young talent to take this team forward. Today, they've beaten the full strength WI team without their best player, shakib and their was 4 debutantes in the Goddamn team! so that tells a story. So please share your views!
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Not really, the best ODI teams want to play against the best not tripe like Bangla. They need to earn the right to be on the same field as someone like Tendulkar and Zaheer.
SLICKR392 Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Chuck the Pak series out and get them in. Will do some good for both sides. Bang cricket & Indian public!!
Tiger-Don Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/535797.html Look at all the respect we gave tendulkar here....thats all that matters :D
Tiger-Don Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 And i would love to see our spinners versus the Indian spinners! got some great new talents...not just spinners but batters too...imma go pray for something like this series happens!
van_Anzah Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 ... They need to earn the right to be on the same field as someone like Tendulkar and Zaheer. Sure whenever Bangladesh plays India, the BD players always do their thing by staying outside the field. .... OP, let's not get desperate. All BD should be focussing on now is to make their own ground as much of a fortress as possible. The rest would follow suit. For now, let's just avenge the defeat in the test series by making them subject to a Banglawash. :--D
Sachinism Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Yes, time for a test series vs Bangladesh to regain some confidence

Collapsing to Swann and Panesar doesn't make us the worst players of spin.
Tiger-Don Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 Collapsing to Swann and Panesar doesn't make us the worst players of spin. i wasnt saying that....i said i would love to see if our spinners can challenge the Indian spinners!

Besides, u guys have the same kind of pitch... kind of.
BERGKAMP Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 i wasnt saying that....i said i would love to see if our spinners can challenge the Indian spinners! indian spinners are shite, not much of a challenge to anyone.
mr cricket Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Bangladesh should learn to consistently beat teams like Zimbabwe, West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka first, before wanting to play a series against a cricket powerhouse like India.

Clarke Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/535797.html Look at all the respect we gave tendulkar here....thats all that matters :D That completes your quota of 4-5 yrs, lets play in 2016/17 so that you might have a chance :P
Tiger-Don Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 You know what I think? Well, this year we have established ourselves as one of the good guns in international cricket (both Tests and ODIs), so yes, this was probably the best year ever. We haven't beaten Pakistan, but we all know we would have had it not been for Cheema cheating. 3 out of 5 against top oppositions!! Not bad right ? !
Magneto Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Actually, it would be a good idea to invite Bangladesh and let our A team have a go at them. Can make for an interesting 3-match series. Play those matches in small towns/new cricket stadiums to generate some excitement. Play one in West Bengal so that the local spectators can sledge the Bangladesh cricketers in all kinds of unparliamentary lingo. :--D

CG Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Yeah no problem ,Also crowds will not be a problem in kolkatta and eastern states as Many of them bangladeshi fans have been crossing over anticipating the match for years now.
