vvvslaxman Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 blame the Indian twitter brigade :cantstop:
riasat Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Sorry cannot agree with OP... Sky has the best commentary team... I find Ravi a little irritating sometimes, how can someone forget his comment about being no 1.... :giggle:
vamos_rafa Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Yeh they've been a bit irritating this series, but I like Bumble still, I think he's fine. I can't stand Hussain this series though. When Dhoni first complained about light, hussain started making stories "oh look, first step, looking at the heavens, second a lot of blinking.. etc". I remember he used to say exactly the same about Ganguly, but he keeps his mouth shut when the English team do the same. On the whole though, I still think they are alright. After India won the first test, they gave a lot of credit to India. Beefy is always beefy, he's very patriotic and will always support England (nothing wrong with that). Gower is fine too, he tries hard to balance any argument, and Athers speaks the most sense of the lot. Nick Knight is quite good too - he's fitted in well to the commentary box. The people who I can't stand are George Dobell and Andrew Miller on Cricinfo. They're full of complete ****, and not just this series. From Dobell claiming SRT is Anderson's bunny (which Anderson even later backed away from in his autobiography claiming he doesnt enjoy bowling to SRT" to Dobell claiming Anderson and the English pace attack is better than South Africa's just before the South African series. If I see an article by them, I genuinely skip it. Cricinfo is genuinely junk now. It was junk when India were top and all the articles were about India's invincibility, and it is junk now with the ascendency of SA and England. The only good articles on it are by the special guest columnists. That and the Statsguru are the only reasons I visit it. I can tell you from personal exp that this whole CI commentary team is junk. They cheer every team playing against India and the noise that they make, well it makes a developer's life tough.
gaurav92 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 They have every right to be biased ! They have played superbly and hav every right to boast about it. Sahi mein dekha jaaye toh angrezon ne bajaa di India ki Baaaannnnndddddd. :aetsch:
CG Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 They have every right to be biased ! They have played superbly and hav every right to boast about it. Sahi mein dekha jaaye toh angrezon ne bajaa di India ki Baaaannnnndddddd. :aetsch: Bajaa di India ki Pungiiiiiii:hysterical:
Trichromatic Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Umpires cannot be excused for poor decisions just because DRS is there but not being used, they have been making decisions without for 100 yrs. This series has seen dreadful decisions given against India compared to England, especially in first 2 tests. Yes, so players should stop acting like fools on the ground. Even best players fail in many series. You can't expect umpires to make correct decisions every time. Sky commentary team is not much different than Indian cheerleader brigade of Sunny and Shastri who are on payroll of the board and can't even speak in the interest of Indian cricket because Srini is always right.
Trichromatic Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 They have every right to be biased ! They have played superbly and hav every right to boast about it. Sahi mein dekha jaaye toh angrezon ne bajaa di India ki Baaaannnnndddddd. :aetsch: Yeah, especially after people like Maninder predicted that this team can not win a match on turners because they failed against Pakistan. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 OP is spreading HATE, if you don't like Sky team then who is forcing you to watch? Switch to Star Cricket. Such threads are against ICF policies. OP is just frustrated that his iconic player has lost all respect from Cricketing world and his predictions are proved wrong, self pwnage at best! PS: I don't like Sky or for that matter English media, but I simply ignore them, instead of spreading BCCI propaganda on net.
Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 TBH honest Indians deserve all this, even before series started Indian commies started to make fun of English team in T20 WC, how can you predict Test performance after watching T20 Cricket?
King Tendulkar Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 They are idiots. Llloyd and botham were saying that Kohli and Dhoni should be summoned by match referee for ill discilpine, foaming at the mouth. But when england players do this, they are just beeing up for it and it shows they are men blah blah. When england do it, not a word about match referee but how they are men. In fact in our 1st innings LLoyd was saying how england team should abuse kohli as he is mouthy, like the england team never say anything!!! Every decsion, botham says not out or out in a flash in favour of england. As soon as replay comes in, he still is in favour of england even when replays suggest in favour of india. Then if clearly in favoiur of india, laughs at us for not having drs or slams us for not having drs, he has been doing this for whole series, does he not get bored??? I am sorry english comms used to be fantastic(still are on tms), objective, eloquent, fair, generous. But this sky team are letting things down. They are not just cheer leaders for their own team but lauch aggressive vitriol against oppo. Whatever their beef with BCCI, that does not mean they should relentleesley talk nasty rubbish at our players and be completley unobjective in their comments. Any how its just pathetic commentary. Lloyd has been a total a hole
King Tendulkar Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 blame the Indian twitter brigade :cantstop: Someone needs to tell sky comms that they are not on twitter and people are not twitting abuse at them. They are on tv and a commnetary team, they need to uphold those traditions. At least the indian comms just talk rubbish but not bias vitriol.
King Tendulkar Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 They have every right to be biased ! They have played superbly and hav every right to boast about it. Sahi mein dekha jaaye toh angrezon ne bajaa di India ki Baaaannnnndddddd. :aetsch: Its not baosting but bias vitriol. Anyhow they should be more gracious in victory.
CG Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I really do not mind anything against This indian team .I used to hate english commies but i hate indian ones more atleast english commies go after thier own players sometimes.
Nova Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 KT is taking out his anger/frustration on the commentators. :hehe:
Swing_n_Speed Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 OP is spreading HATE, if you don't like Sky team then who is forcing you to watch? Switch to Star Cricket. 1983-2011 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Sky has the best coverage, commentators and the pundits. Dont watch it if you dont like it.
zep1706 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 A Million times better than the BCCI cheerleaders.
IKnowU Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 India deserves all the negativity they can get atm, bring it on I say
The Outsider Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Can't blame them after the kind of abuse they have to endure from Indian fans in addition to the fact that they were forced to do commentary from the studios by the BCCI.
King Khan Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 IMO Star Sports hindi commi panel did a very good job on ingame analysing & discussing facts than others. They were much neutral and unbiased speakers.
