Silva Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Seriously I am a huge rohit fan but does any one think rohit is a better ODI number 4 than pujara? Pujara would be perfect at that spot. would make the batting line up look incredibly solid with dhoni raina jadeja/yuvi or pathan coming in after him.
cowboysfan Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 forget Vijay -why is Rohit ahead of Pujara assuming Pujara is fit? Rohit has around 100 odis has nothing to show for it.

Rohit has a stellar couple of years Since Jan 1, 2012 Rohit stats 16 matches 255 runs average of 17.00 at a mind blowing strike rate of 72.23. :hatsoff: He is far better than some of his competing batsmen Ashwin since Jan, 2012 23 matches 171 runs average of 19.00 strike rate 81.04 Irfan pathan 12 matches 172 runs average of 34.40 strike rate 101.17
rahulrulezz Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Rohit is your typical 90s batsman from India who would score a typical momentum breaking innings of 11 of 28, 9 of 21, 27 of 51 balls kinda innings n then after 20 pathetic innings, he would score one good innings

He just cannot convert T20 performances into ODI performances. A rare affliction but a very real one.
