What voice quality... I Love him. P.S. Without watching a single episode of last years Indian Idol , I voted for Karunya because I am from Hyderabad and my friends said he sings well. Thats the name of the game in democracy....Love it or Hate it. P.P.S. I did not vote for Amit Sana in the first Indian Idol even though he is Telugu because I thought Abhijit Sawant performed better in my opinion.
theguyinallblue Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Ok...i missed the live action .. but my two cents on this... there is definite favoritisms among the voting Janta... its not necessarily regional bias... in saregama...that chandra guy was superb...i mean he was an amazing singer...and i liked his voice... but again..all these are predominantly hindi programs..not followed much in southern india...because of language barrier ( i think so ) That debojit got so many votes from his Assam..or North east that he always won on the count of votes... now if some one would have asked me to vote..i would have definitely voted for chandra...as i liked his singing...even though there was a north indian guy..that cap wala guy...who was not that bad... personally i have never seen any bias against south indians...though i have felt that North east people do not get fare treatment here in delhi..... somehow..i think..its going to hurt india..in the future.. there is no clear cut divide between North and south..but there is surely divide between states..
