vishalvirsingh Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Rahane was Looking the Best Batsman in T 20"s.......he is probably the most Sound Indian batsman Technically along with PUJARA.......I would like to state that if I need to Pen down a ODI Team ...I would pen him Down first into eleven....... Playing a Confused ROHIT ahead of Him means either Rohit is his langotia friend or his Selection Skills are a BIG Question Mark. Playing 4 bowlers in an ODI with Jadeja playing ahead of ashwin also defied Logic.... One of the ODI"s there were Pace friendly conditions......when he knew Pak is dicy against swing he should have tried Shami as a 4th Pacer....... JADEJA- did he ever score 30 Runs in any ODI till now Has he ever shown Confidence as a batsman........I feel he is just a restrictive bowler and a Good fielder does he deserve a place in the Team......?

Vikas Bhatt Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 This is why Ganguly will always be the greater captain than Dhoni. He backed talent that needed his backing. Not that he didn't have his biases at times but not the kind that blocked objective thinking. Unlike Dhoni who only backs his chosen set of favorite non performing failures again and again! Raina, Rohit, Bhajji, Yuvraj....the list goes on! Tewary and Rahane will never get decent enough runs because they are not close to him.
