Virat is good...I was never AVKC fyi...Only during IPL maybe due to his antics. in WI,Australia (under more difficult pitches especially in 2008),opening in difficult conditions recently Rohit has done a commendable job. S.Waugh averages less than Younis Khan but Waugh is greater in my book but doesn;'t mean I don't rate Younis Khan

in west indies kohli did well too and in australia rohit did not even play .. you were giving example of where rohit out classed kohli in difficult conditions not where kohli failed ..

no its not even a comparison kohli is better ..you can like rohit more but don;t say he has played better on difficult conditions than virat.

lol..out scored...point is virat scored and did not struggle yeah was not upto his standard but thati s more down to form and if it was ot for him we would have lost rohit needed help from both dhoni and kohli what about sri lanka ? what about this series where virat looked better than rohit harma at best.. yeah we are lucky to have both but just like how tendulkar was better than dravid same way kohli is better than rohit..and i am bigger fan of dravid :winky:

Look at at this way - Rohit has won everything in T20s - World Cup, IPL, CPL - with a top contribution in each of the finals. Kohli has won everything in ODIs - U-19 WC, WC, CT etc. Don't forget Rohit's knocks in this year's IPL and CPL too.

Agree, its not that Virat is overall very much ahead of Rohit. If Rohit works hard then he can match Virat by being better in Tests and in ODIs he is pretty much on the right track.

Quality wise...ROhit's innings in the T20 WC's very good,given the bowling attacks and the pitches....There is a reason why those innings are rated highly along with his innings in CB series. I mean just imagine Kohli's Asia cup and Hobart innings were incredible but people(not just fans like me) rate those Rohit innings very high due to the kind of situations they were p;ayed in despite them not even being 1/3 in runs wise as Kohli's innings. Rohit now has matured to show that he can play those Kohli type of innings in this series...Also the fact that he has opened in some tough conditions recently has earned the fan's respect. Kohli scored a 100 in WI tri-series but Rohit won the Cycle Agarbatti award because experts knew who played an important role overall

LOL, don't take it as an absolute parameter. Rohit has got a lot more success in T20s overall and vice-versa. Rohit's domestic T20 performance has been better than Kohli overall and his show in T20 World Cups too.

Also remember Kohli plays most of his IPL in this mickey-mouse ground where even Faulkner beat Hayden's record today. Kohli failed in 2 of the 3 matches (against SA and Aus) in the T20 WC Round 2.
