Vanarp22 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Congratulations to Bhuvneshwar Kumar A gem of an innings, almost as vital as Dhoni's to keeping India alive. Now I know why Cricinfo classifies him as an allrounder. I hope he pulls an Abul Hasan or a Faf/AB stonewall so Dhoni gets a triple.
suraj Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Fineleg and bhajji both are back :woot: Double jeopardy :giggle::giggle:
StatsRock Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Bollocks! His tummy could easily hold half a dozen logos but he's been nice enough not to use that piece of real estate.
Vanarp22 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Coincidences Ashwin conceded 103 runs in the first innings, which is exactly 103 less than the number of runs Dhoni scored in India's first innings.
Fontaine Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Harbhajan conceded 87 run in just 25 overs, and claimed only one wicket on a spin friendly track. Harbhajan also sucks. Coincidence?
Pagalpanti Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Beer got injured hence Doherty got selected. Wont be surprised if they actually play the young guy Agar as he brings the element of surprise with him. Aussie selectors rate him very highly already.

Dumbbells Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Off spinners without experience is a bad pick in India. The only off spinner who did well against India is Swann. Rest of them were all smashed. Right from Murali to Saqlain.
gaurav92 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 What has that got to do? Plus Dhonia still has the opportunity to score more :P
sm332 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 saqlain took several 5fers in that famed Chennai series if memory serves me right. he got smashed later on by Viru!

SLICKR392 Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 There you go..4 in the second ball. :fail: Coincidence now?
PBN Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Bhuvi is a decent lower order batsman and has done well for UP in Ranjis. Good temperament. He plays proper cricket shots and plays high percentage shots.
Ankur Upadhyay Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 He can be groomed to be a future bowling allrounder... but he needs to tighten his technique.. Right now, his batting and bowling will not click together... because his batting will work in subcontinent but bowling will not while his bowling will work in swinging conditions but his batting will fail coz of his technique..
