First of all he owns a for-profit IPL team "Chennai Super Kings" which was illegal, but he changed the rules again misusing his position to gain unfair advantage. Next, the captain of his team M.S. Dhoni is incidentally also the captain of Indian National team in all three formats. But this Dhoni-Srini nexus has now used their positions to give preferential treatments to players of CSK and others. The selection procedure followed by BCCI under Srini is highly debatable. Is it just a coincidence that 4 players in the playing XI belong to CSK. Dhoni is no doubt the captain of the team, Suresh Raina another CSK player is the stand in captain in case Dhoni is unavailiable. R. Ashwin another CSK player in the team has been in a consistent poor form, his bowling figures have dwindled consistently since past year. Another new player in the playing XI is Ravinder Jadeja, this guy never deserved to be a player in National team, hailed as an all rounder, Jadeja has never performed since his selection to justify his selection in national squad. Next some non CSK players getting preferential treatment from Dhoni-Srini nexus. One such player is Rohit Sharma, dubbed online as the Maggi man for his recent 2 minutes knocks, his most innings never cross 20 runs, but still is given regular chances in the squad. Another player getting benefit of his nexus is Ishant Sharma, this guy has been regularly criticized regularly for his limited bowling ability, slow pace, lack of variations, poor fielding, etc.. While some really good talented players are wasting their time sitting outside. Ambati Rayudu former India under 19 captain under whose captainship likes of Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and others have played, is still waiting for his chance, even after displaying his form in IPL. Manoj Tiwari another potential star of Indian Cricket is also utilized to serve drinks to the players. Umesh Yadav the only decent pace bowler in the side are is also under utilized at best. Even the best Indian batsman in India vs England test series Cheteshwar Pujara and best bowler in the series Pragyan Ojha are still ignored. Some upcoming talents like Unmukt Chand, Manvindar Bisla, Amit Misra, Shikhar Dhawan, Shammi Ahmed, Murli Karthik, are still in the queue even after playing good cricket while Murli Vijay and Subramaniam Badrinath are considered for playing XI next for one or two decent performances in domestic cricket no prizes for guessing, both these players also play for CSK. We want BCCI to get strict against this bias behaviour of the current their current president. He should be sacked immediately and should be subjected to corruption inquiry. BCCI should also ask M.S. Dhoni to leave his captainship in T20 format so that some youngster can be given this opportunity.

I pity the ones on ICF dismissing this guy's efforts.

At least his doing something more worthwile for Indian cricket with his limited resources than opening threads to rant, the least a fan could do is spend 10 seconds to sign it (if they believe Srini needs to go:winky:). Have you signed it?
Clarke Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 How is this gonna affect anything ? The best way is through your money, watch international cricket legally and ignore/boycott the IPL. That tells the BCCI where the emphasis is required.
