Asim Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 How can u delay a general election if the term has finished? any chaotic situation will give them an excuse to extend care-taker setup duration...
Asim Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Despite Qadri long march and court decision have no connection but timing of both is very strange and critical...
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Army will take over before elections or after elections.
Clarke Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Does the Pak Army still have influence on the Pak Judiciary that can result in such decisions ?
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Army is the only one who re-store judiciary in 2009. every politician accepts this fact. its an open secret.
ravishingravi Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Army is the only one who re-store judiciary in 2009. every politician accepts this fact. its an open secret. It is a pretty tricky situation then
Clarke Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Army is the only one who re-store judiciary in 2009. every politician accepts this fact. its an open secret. Army can twist the judiciary as it pleases to ? In other words martial law runs the country ?
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 yes. under the constitution with the help of judiciary , with autocratic rule . for 2 or 3 years. it can possible.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Army can twist the judiciary as it pleases to ? In other words martial law runs the country ? u can say invisible martial law , with autocratic rule.
Asim Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 No Chance for Army Take-over this time...
Pioneer Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Nah don't think the army will do much this time. If they wanted, they'd have done so already. I respect what Qadri's doing though, the only interesting thing is how Imran Khan will respond and would he be able to capitalize on this wave of political unrest.
Asim Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 ^ Imran could have easily done this*10 last last year Jan, Feb when whole flow was all with him but after getting that peak he came over-careful and missed the ideal time. Now his party under some pressure and actually very tricky time for him bcz supportingor not supporting Qadri both can dent his cause...

Right now hes been working to keep those supporters whilst trying to gain some grassroot support as well by going to places such as KPK and Balochistan. I think what he did was smart. Right now, hes playing it safe. Not getting directly involved with Qadri but saying their agendas are the same. He just has to get involved at the right time, when the government is at its weakest.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Asim, pioneer , Army dont need to do everything visible , they can do everything in back door. i can tell u , Martial law or no Martial law. Situation is going worst. Dr.Qadri achieved his goal to creat chaotic situation. Atleast i dont see any elections near 6 months.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 one more thing, imran khan cant do shyt in next elections if Zardari remains president. you cant expect fair elections under Zardari Care-Taker Govt.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Also Govt is not doing well with its response. if Govt try to handle this Long March with force then it will be ther biggest mistake.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 karachi may 3 din pahlay information minister of sindh Sharjeel Memon pithay pithay bach gaya crowd say. crowd may 200 say zayada log nahi thay.
KeyboardWarrior Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 PESHAWAR: Tribesmen from the Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency are staging a sit-in outside the Governor House here. The sit-in is in protest to the killing of 18 people whose bodies were recovered from Bara. Family members of the victims have refused to bury their dead and are present at the sit-in along with the bodies of the deceased. Protestors tried to manhandle MNA Habibullah Jan Afridi when he arrived at the sit-in. Afridi’s bodyguards fired warning shots as a result of which one person was injured. Meanwhile Prime Minsiter Raja Pervaiz Ashraf called Governor Khyber Pakhtukhwa Massod Kasaur over the sit-in. The Governor informed Prime Minister Ashraf that a report will be presented after speaking with the tribesmen. The prime minister assured that the federal government would provide assistance to resolve the problem. 18 people were killed when unknown gunmen entered their homes and shot them. The bodies of the victims were disposed of in nearby fields. The families of the victims could not recover their bodies Tuesday night because of the curfew. Seven members of the same family were among those killed.
