since the umpire gave it out originally, it should be allowed to stand and as soon as the power came back on, they should have reviewed it and if it is found to be not out, then just overrule the decision and allow him to come back in at the fall of next wicket - ICC's manual of extenuating circumstances - Rule 1

But since the original decision was out' date=' with or without DRS the same decision was made so its not like DRS caused the wrong decision?[/quote'] No. Not the fault of DRS at all but what the fuss is about is that if such a thing had happened during a decisive situation (say last wicket/ over, etc.) isn't it unfair for the team (batting/ bowling depending upon the decision) asking for the review? Also, in many cases, the decisions are touch and go and trust me, if such a scenario arises in a high profile game (like Ind v Pak), it could be a big big thing ....... fans will go on moaning forever.

SA has some of the best cricket stadiums in the world, but there is smaller grounds in the country side, that do not have the capacity and facilities like the big 6-7 stadiums
