Richard Hadlee was a 'very fat' bowler?

Mid 140s stock delivery is 90mph stock delivery, which from that list of players, not many had. Even Imran was not consistently in the mid 140s kph for very long ( 1980-86) and the only ones who qualify, are Waqar, Akhtar, Marshall, Lillee, Thommo, Holding, Roberts, Hogg, etc. Hadlee was most definitely NOT a 145kph average bowler, he was actually what you'd get if Bhuvi's stock delivery was 5kph faster, with equally sharp movement both ways, along with exemplary control. Hadlee was *NOT* the fastest bowler at any point in his career, nor was he actually 'fast' in the 90mph stock delivery mode. What he did have, was a very fast bouncer and effort ball. But effort balls are not the benchmark, what matters is your stock delivery for speed discussions. There are plenty of bowlers out there who have 145kph effort balls but cannot do more than 135kph for six deliveries in a row or else they break down.

Ishant has no consistancy in terms of speed. One day he can go 90 next match he struggles to cross 80. Siddle is far more consistant.

Its because he bowls in australia.Also ishant had an operation and is coming back form injury.The speed guns used by diff channels also plays a role,Some measure it on release and some when the ball hits ground.

Even express bowlers like Lee very rarely average 145+ kmph over a test match. Hadlee was quick at the start of his career and had a quick and deceptive bouncer, but was never an express bowler.
