Can Abhishek Nayar be a good allrounder in tests ?

He has scored 3804 runs at an average of 57 and picked 93 wickets at 30.63 in 56 games in FC and a very good performance this Ranji season. With no set No.7 batsman in the test lineup, could he be a good replacement for Jadeja if the latter doesnt do well ? His medium pace would be lot more useful overseas than Jadeja.

PK had amazing big swing, both ways. Nayar is nothing like that

I have seen him bowl before. Looks the 2 Kumars get massive swing, enormous swing. Thus they are not quick but the massive swing and seam makes up for it. Nayar does not get that massive movement, gets some movement but not massive. He will bowl mid 120s and get smoked in international cricket

I have seen him bowl before. Looks the 2 Kumars get massive swing, enormous swing. Thus they are not quick but the massive swing and seam makes up for it. Nayar does not get that massive movement, gets some movement but not massive. He will bowl mid 120s and get smoked in international cricket

nobody is saying hes as good as them,but he is a decent option,specially in helpful conditions.he bowled upto 130 and in ODIs,hopefully he can all out n bowl quicker. he moves it just enough,u dont wanna beat the bat,u wanna take the edge:--D

He is not a strike bowler who bowls with new ball. He is more of a fifth bowling option and at a pace of 125-130 with good control, he can be effective in overseas conditions. His role is more of a batsman and with no established batsman at that position at present, he could be given an opportunity. His batting average in FC is as good as other alternatives.
