saneindian Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Team for the 1st 2 tests will be picked this Sunday before those practice matches vs Aus. Shami only looks to have an outside chance.
rkt.india Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 All bowlers are useless in one match or the other. But i back that guy for his accuracy and ability to swing both ways from a good length spot. Despite the slower clock speed i find him nippier than some of the supposed "fast" bowlers. He will be utter useless whenever ball is not going to swing at 125K of pace. You only saw him in Australia and most bowlers would get zip of the pitch on those pitches in WC. I found Siddarth Kaul better because he could use old ball too to get reverse as well as the new. In India, more than new, it is the older ball which troubles the batsmen most and for that you need a bit of pace in your hand at least 135K.
NareshK Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Bhajji not bowling too badly on flat track. :hmmm:
saneindian Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Sreesanth, Mithun, Ishwar, Dhawal Kulkarni, BK- Pacers for the test squad will be from these 5 guys..Most probably Sree and Mithun will get in unless Dhoni vetoes Sreesanth's selection.
NareshK Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 BK could be a good option if he gets some swing because Aussies struggled against swing against Sri Lanka. But in Summer dry conditions, there is generally very little help for seamers in India.
saneindian Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Wonder why Bhajji has totally shunned the doosra. Looks to be in good rhythm after the 2 wickets, need him in good form.
