youngindia Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 looks like the franchises are willing to pay for allrounders.hence this farce of maxwell and perera getting ridculously over paid. even though i wonder, whether there are any allroudner at the top of the bowler's or batter's list for over five seasons. can anyone imagine pollard or dwayne smith at the top fo the charts? there are some franchises like dd,punjab and rr which really need some decent batsmen. but still batsmen like d bravo get overlooked. the quality gets affected because proepr batsmen and bowlers get overlooked . but there is competition between who is more stupid amd mediocre. that levels the playing field a bit.

Hodge ripped Steyn apart in the last IPL. Both are better than Kallis or any other great in T20.
