Pioneer Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 It seems Misbah is their best player ATM, he seems to be much better than likes of Inzimam in testing conditions. Inzamam failed against best bowlers of his gen, he thrashed Asian bowlers on flat tracks. He has worst abroad record among all sub-continent legends. I don't even consider Inzi a great batsmen of his era, leave alone all-time. He was decent at best overall in Tests, much overhyped by likes of Imran Khan. He was a good batsmen in ODIs. Again no match for Ganguly/Jayasuriya/Lara/Ponting/Sachin and on par with Dravid and Kallis at best. All his legendary ODI knocks are in Asia. Why Pakiis hate Misbah? He doesn't fix matches, he is non controversial regards to drugs, infighting, girls, imposing religion. He is good looking, educated, speaks decent English. Cracked me up
Rohit S. Ambani Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Cracked me up According to Afretard fan's this attribute is must have! :haha: Pankaj888 1

Trichromatic Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 He is the highest sc batsman on that list and 5th highest overall. :--D Hint: sort by average, remember quality>quantity. and worst in lost matches. Shows that he was a fair weather player. Whenever ship was sinking, he left early? :winky:
panther Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 and worst in lost matches. Shows that he was a fair weather player. Whenever ship was sinking, he left early? :winky: This shows he made his runs count more than other players + if he did not perform, the team did not do well usually, this is a fact as he has more than 50% of his test runs in a winning cause.
panther Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Inzi fact: 17 tons out 25 in won matches. Note: 2 tons in West indies ended up in a drawn cause because both test were washed out. 1 ton v aus at hobart, aussie umpires cheated to help aus win the test in a chase of 360 or so. 2 tons at faislabad test against England, England were 140-6, chasing 260 odd, but bad light did not allow for a possible result.

Shows most of the time he was good only when team was on top.
vandokkum Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I have no idea why you are being so humble, rating Bradman ahead of Inzamam....
Number Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Whenever Inzi scored Pak won. Yes, that's mostly because of a gun bowling line-up they needed few just a batsmen to stand-up and score some runs and give them something to bowl with. But can't ignore so many match winning knocks he played.
