Ashwin can't turn it consistently outside the subcontinent whereas Ojha can. He has a more classical action, gets a better release and gets more purchase off the deck. Jadeja too will struggle outside the subcontinent

Classical action does not mean anything. He does not have pivot or enough rip behind the ball. I have never seen him turn the ball on a flat track.

He gets more pivot and rip than Ashwin. Ashwin relies on subtle variations with his fingers. You said you've never seen Ojha turn it on a flat deck. Well clearly you did not see the first test against England. That was a pretty flat track and look at the turn Ojha got compared to what Aswhin got.

That was not a flat track. that was a slow track with slow and Ojha is most effective when pitch is slow because his natural trajectory and pace is slow. Slower the pitch, harder to face his bowling will be. He also has an advantage being left armer with so many right handers when ball turns away from the batsman. Flat track was in Irani trophy and he was thrashed.

That was a response to CG who said "any captain will do good". On a serious note, Ojha was not the BEST bowler since sliced bread. Also, him being dropped was a team strategy. Further to which when he played he made little or no impact. The way this thread started was as if "OMG! Ojha dropped. Look he's the BEST bowler and he will perform better than Jadeja." He hasn't even performed better than Harbhajan in this series. Ojha is and will always be a supporting spinner,
