Trichromatic Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ojha is clearly only decent bowler in India and he was dropped. His performance in last series - 20 wickets at avg of 30 His replacements - Ashwin - averaged 50 in England series, Harbhajan - averages 40 in last 22 tests. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
IKnowU Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 This is embarrassing to be a fan of the team when they make calls like this. What a joke
Texy Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I hope we lose this test. Honestly. Feck you MSD.
Laaloo Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Mistakes after mistakes after mistakes over and over again and no accountability  :banghead:
diga Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I hope we lose this test. Honestly. Feck you MSD. +1 ... MSD is so stubborn. He just wants to prove Jadeja will win 1 match even at the cost of losing 10 others.
Number Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ojha looked very poor in that Irani match. Ashwin is an all rounder. Bhajji bowled well in recent domestic matches.
Number Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Aus line up filled with left-handers. Horses for courses.
suraj Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ojha looked very poor in that Irani match. Ashwin is an all rounder. Bhajji bowled well in recent domestic matches. lol- if domestic matches performances always translated into intl success Raman Lamba and Wasim Jaffer could have been our best batsmen ever
Trichromatic Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Ojha looked very poor in that Irani match. Ashwin is an all rounder. Bhajji bowled well in recent domestic matches. If I'm not wrong then he was getting carted in domestic matches before England series. Something like 200-1? He outbowled everyone in England series. If anyone is doing well in international matches, then domestic performances shouldn't be considered.
Clarke Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Aus line up filled with left-handers. Horses for courses. Oh yea, given a choice between Sehwag & Kumble bowling to lefties, the former should be the first choice ... right ? This dhobi has carried on with his moronic ideology one more time :wall:
Ultimate_Game Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Plus Murali Vijay gets in when more deserving options in Rahane and Dhawan sit out
CG Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Logic-Australia has more lefthanders.:hysterical:
Number Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Plus Murali Vijay gets in when more deserving options in Rahane and Dhawan sit out Rahane is not an opener, Sandeep Patil has said so. Dhawan doesn't have experience against intl. sides.
diga Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Plus Murali Vijay gets in when more deserving options in Rahane and Dhawan sit out Its like Srini selected the X1 for the chennai match
Ultimate_Game Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Rahane is not an opener, Sandeep Patil has said so. Dhawan doesn't have experience against intl. sides. How exactly will Dhawan gain experience when likes of Murali Vijay are preferred over him. As for Rahane not being an opener, same was the case with Sehwag in Tests and Tendulkar in odis. Its like Srini selected the X1 for the chennai match Sadly it looks like that.
CSK Fan Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 So two Rhiti sports stars are back in the test team
diga Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Aakash Chopra @cricketaakash: Brilliant point by @warne888 on turning into the batsmen on dusty pitches...more difficult to negotiate than the balls turning away #IndvAus Tom Moody ✔ @TomMoodyCricket: Can't believe India have left out Pragyan Ojha best bowler against Eng & Aust historically average against quality left arm spin? #IndvAus
yoda Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Plus Murali Vijay gets in when more deserving options in Rahane and Dhawan sit out Rahane is not an opener and Dhawan as of now is a backup. So no surprise that Vijay is in the XI after Gauti is out. The way Sehwag is playing we will need two openers soon anyways. The bigger surprise is Ojha's exclusion and inclusion of Jadeja and Harby. I would have preferred Ojha for Harby and Rahane for Jadeja and may be Harby for Ishant who is about as useless as they come.
JaFanatic Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 feel for him he was the only decent/half-decent bowler in the recent matches
